The, the Book - home page
Reviews
THE is great -- have you seen Rory MacBeth's Alphabetical Bible? or the minimal poems of Aram Saroyan? Two of my favorites which this reminds me of. I dig the austerity of the book as well, from the cover to the type. Oh, also check out Craig Dworkin's PARSE. Blow your mind. - Kenneth Goldsmith - (wikipedia page for Kenneth Goldmith)

Of course I'm prejudiced because I hold the copyright for this book, but I must
say that Chavid (the ch pronounced like challa, the bread) Dadwick (pronounced
like dodwick) has crafted a most intriguing series of pages here. As Dadwick is
so shy, I agreed to contact a publisher for him after carefully reading each
the. As he says in the book, "The the the the the the the the the." What more
can I add except to say it's a pleasure to have this short book on my living
room table to delight and amuse my friends.

I proudly published this unique novelty book and the product description won't be up here for a while so I'm posting it here. The is the Pet Rock of books. The back side of the dust jacket has the inscription, "Book One in the Article Series." Except for the copyright and title pages, dedication to Polybius, and the epigraph ("When a thing is funny, search it for a hidden truth." - George Bernard Shaw), the only word in this book is "the" arranged in sentences forming paragraphs.
