I'm interested in presenting this book and others in various ways but I've got a lot to learn about how to do this, especially about everything to do with the audiobook market. I'm looking into programs that join files and give chapter titles and make it so the listener can mark where they are. And it seems that the biggest use is with ipods and iTunes which use mp4 files. So here goes the first step. Advice welcome. - dc

Words and music to the songs

Songs in the audiobook are rough mixes of mainly the vocal, guitar, and harmonica from the CD tracks, some acapella.
The CD, Songs for To Find the Girl from Perth, has more instrumentation and is professionally mixed and mastered - though it's still pretty funky.

Thanks to those who helped to make the music for the CD, Songs for To Find the Girl from Perth. Even though the songs in the audiobook are scaled down, all the musicians who are on the CD are in here too somewhere.

So thanks to the members of Homemade

Bill Seidel – harmonica
Ethan Okamura – guitar on Every Day’s a Good Day
Ryan Madden – bass
Clay Chadwick – drums
Katrinka McKay and Lisa Clark for singing on Nothin’ to Do and Lisa for her fiddle
David Chadwick played guitar, vocal, some bass, and everything else on all songs

The songs were written, and, like the audiobook, engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered by David Chadwick, here at Second Take Studio. Randy Rand guided the audiobook mastering from Telluride CO.

Thanks to: Barbara Nicholson for the Martin guitar, People’s Music, Sebastopol, CA, for the kazoo, Edward Jenkins, Ricky Sanchez, Paul Speir of Speir Publishing, and Mario Warren for audio advice.
